The care I received from Mr Chandrasenan was better than I could have ever hoped for. I'm particularly anxious in regards to hospitals and medical treatment. In January 2019, I severely injured my knee and ruptured my ACL. Due to my anxieties, this was an incredibly stressful situation for me. Mr Chandrasenan is clearly very knowledgeable. He was also very helpful in easing my anxiety, and encouraged me to undergo surgery to repair my ACL, something I was originally hoping would not have to happen. However, he explained that the surgery was the best option, and it definitely seems that he was right. Though it has been a very difficult time for me personally, Mr Chandrasenan has helped alleviate many of the stresses that go along with elective surgery and the long healing process afterwards. He explained everything clearly, and allowed me to be fully involved in the decisions based around my care. Mr Chandrasenan was very compassionate and caring. He put me to the top of the list for surgery to ensure I didn't have to wait for a long period of time before the operation. This meant that I did not become too anxious to go ahead. I'm also incredibly needle-phobic, and so he made arrangements to make this as easy as possible for me. Mr Chandrasenan is incredibly approachable, and ensured he spent the time to answer any questions I had, and constantly reassured me, both pre-operatively and post-operatively. I am still under the care of Mr Chandrasenan, and am very thankful for his continuous care, support and encouragement.

Mr C has absolutely changed my life. In April I dislocated my left knee very severely resulting in a very unstable joint (this is something that has happened many times before) however this time I was lucky enough to have Mr C as my doctor. He ordered an MRI scan which detected several anomalies in the bone structure this coupled with a knee cap that wouldn’t stay put and hyper mobility didn’t exactly make me a straight forward case. From the moment I met him he made me feel at ease at what was a painful and worrying time. He is always professional, personable and approachable. He has such a warm and friendly manner. He has always taken the time at every appointment to really get to know me and the issues I have been having with my knee. He has listened to me and provided me with guidance and all the information needed surrounding my care and treatment for me to feel at ease with the procedures I have undergone. During my recovery it became apparent that surgery would be my only chance at regaining stability in the joint however my hyper mobility made this very difficult and this worried me greatly.. Mr C tailored the surgery to me and my needs and now I have every chance of gaining back 100% function with a few more months of physio therapy. I thought at the age of 28 I would be walking with a stick for the rest of my life but thanks to the talents of this incredible doctor I will be fully recovered soon enough. I have seen Mr C numerous times over the last 9 months and the appointments are always relaxed and informative. He offers any and all help that he can and definitely goes above and beyond to ensure I am as comfortable as possible during my recovery. He is a highly skilled surgeon who took on a very difficult high risk case and found a way to help despite the increased risk. He made sure I could have the surgery on the day ward so I could go home the same day and when he had to rearrange due to a shortage of anaesthetists he was very apologetic and sincere Even though it was out of his control. He visited me on the ward after my surgery which just added to me feeling cared for and looked after. He always remembers personal details even though he sees hundred of patients and I can say with absolute certainty that I feel very lucky to be under his care. So if you do read this, thank you again from the bottom of my heart I don’t think you will ever know just how life changing the treatment you have given me has been for myself and my family nor do I feel I can express into words how grateful I am for the time and effort and care you have invested into my recovery.
